NHL.com: Hockey Hall of Famer Bob Probert dies at 87

Bob Probert died Thursday, and he was 87.

He was diagnosed with colon cancer in August.

Probert played in more than 200 NHL games and won a Stanley Cup in 1988 with the Ottawa Senators.

He also won the Norris Trophy as the league’s top defenseman in 1988.

He was inducted into the Hockey Hall Of Fame in 2000 and retired from the NHL in 2016.

He and his wife, Judy, had three children.
