Uber to cut 4,000 jobs in UK amid Brexit, the company says

Uber has slashed its workforce in the UK, with 4,200 jobs going from London to Aberdeen.

The company announced that 4,100 staff were being moved to the UK as part of its £7 billion UK expansion, including 400 in Aberdeen.

Uber will continue to operate in Aberdeen and Aberdeen West.

The new employees will be employed in the City, where the company’s headquarters are located.
