The future of the Australian street car is finally looking bright with the release of a brand new concept, the Roadrunner.
The concept has been in development for over a year with the final concept being unveiled last month in Melbourne.
The Roadrunner will be a fully fledged roadster with the capacity to transport up to 18 passengers, which means it will be capable of carrying as many as 17 people.
The new Roadrunner, which is expected to hit the market in 2021, will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine with a range of 150 kilometres.
The vehicle is also said to be capable to carry up to six passengers.

The driver will be able to select from two different operating modes, such as automatic or manual.
The Australian government hopes the roadrunners will allow it to continue to invest in its road safety network and increase its vehicle fleet.
