Eagles have a good chance to steal Falcons in NFC wild-card game

Atlanta, Ga.

— The Atlanta Falcons have a chance to win the NFC wild card game Sunday night, but the team will have to go through a lot of extra work on offense and defense to get there.

New Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Nolan will be back in Atlanta to help quarterback Matt Ryan prepare for Sunday’s game.

The Falcons have had plenty of success in the early going in the playoffs.

They’ve won six of their past eight home games, including an NFC title game victory over the Washington Redskins in January.

The Falcons are 3-0 in the regular season and will host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at 6 p.m.

ET.

Atlanta’s offense has been solid so far.

They’ve averaged 38.3 points per game and have scored at least 300 points in five of their first six games.

They are averaging just 11.6 points per contest and have allowed just 33.4 per contest.
